| Janet trained with the British School of Shiatsu-Do in 1993 and went on to obtain her graduate diploma with Bill Palmer at the School of Development and Experiential Shiatsu in 1998. Janet continues to study Shiatsu extensively. Her thorough understanding of its principles ensures effective practice. After a further year of studying with a mentor she gained the MRSS qualification and is now a member of the professional register of the Shiatsu Society. This register guarantees that the practitioner has a high level of professional and clinical expertise. Janet is also a trained Reiki Practitioner and Tutor and is a member of the UK Reiki Federation. |

This exciting two day introduction to Shiatsu, a Japanese massage
technique that age treats common physical complaints by stimulating
pressure points, will involve deep breathing, rotating and stretching
joints, as well as manipulating pressure points.
The workshop will cover an introduction to the principles of Yin and
Yang energy movement and how they appear in the body, the
effects and uses of Shiatsu for stress reduction, how to work with
others, how to achieve total body relaxation,
technique that age treats common physical complaints by stimulating
