Body Reading/Fascial Touch

Postural Analysis/Myofascial Exploration
|
James Earls has been practicing bodywork for 15 years and has trained in a variety of approaches. He is founder and director of Ultimate Massage Solutions and has trained with Tom Myers, originator of the Anatomy Trains theory, and is a registered teacher of his approach. James has travelled widely to learn from some of the top educators in the field and he now teaches a range of courses for schools in Ireland, the UK and Europe.
He has worked at the World Triathlon Championships in Hawaii and been invited to work with Premiership football teams, teaching their sports medicine teams and working on "problem" players.
He now specialises in myofascial release and structural integration to rid the body of restrictions and restore the body's natural postural balance.

Loughborough Next dates to be arranged
In a follow up to the highly successful Anatomy Trains we present
two stand-alone workshops that expand on skills explored.
Workshop One - Body Reading - is an innovative method of
analysing posture. Of particular interest to all styles of practitioner
who deal with postural realignment (Massage Therapist, Pilates
teacher, Yoga teacher), the workshop presents holistic strategies
for resolving strain patterns and finding the "structural keys" to
create longer lasting effective work. The more you can see, the
more efficient your work will become.
Want to learn methods of ‘seeing’ the global picture when analysing your clients posture?
Would you like to develop strategies for resolving strain patterns in your clients?
Need more information using correct body mechanics?

based on what you see and feel

Workshop
Workshop Two (13th Apr) - Fascial Touch - concentrates on
learning to work smarter, not harder. As we increase our
understanding of the body sometimes we lose sight of the quality
of our work. This special day will give you a vocabulary to
describe not only what you feel when working on the body but will
also explore the many layers that you may encounter. This will
allow you to be specific with your work, focusing on the layers
that are creating difficulties for your clients.
You will explore the many ways of connecting into the myofascia,
allowing you to feel and recognise when it is affected. Breaking
the myths of "more pain, more gain," we show you ways of
making the work easy for you and for your clients. This day will
change the way you work, making it easy, relaxed and, most of
all, effective.
- Learn how use Anatomy Trains as a map for seeing global as well as local soft
tissue patterns that create skeletal geometry
- Build skills in 'body-reading' global patterns in posture and movement
- Learn to interpret client posture patterns to find the source of their problem
