MG Training is a provider of the HSE Approved Appointed Person course.
MG Training are members of the CIEH. Their basic course is 6 hours in duration and is ideal for businesses that are not terribly high risk (libraries etc.) but still need to appoint responsible people should there be a First Aid incident.

Appointed Person
The HSE approved Appointed Person First Aid course is designed
for those work places that are low risk and, as such, do not need a
fully qualified 'First Aider'. Appointed Persons can only administer
First Aid for which they are trained. This course can be tailored to
meet your specific needs, which may have arisen from your own
company First Aid Risk Assessment.

Workshop
Course Descriptions
Sport First Aid
This course covers the same content as the Appointed Person course
on the first day. The second day covers and incorporates situations
and conditions that might be encountered in a sporting context such
as: soft tissue injury, fractures, shock and anaphylaxis, dehydration,
heat exhaustion & heat stroke, exercise induced asthma and other
common illnesses.

Please note: For certification the first day is mandatory. However, applicants holding a current Appointed
Person or other valid First Aid certificate (e.g. First Aid At Work) may apply for exemption to the first day.
Please also note that sporting situations specific to course delegates will be included subject to request.
