Active Recovery Ltd, and its training division the Active School of Complementary Therapy (ASCT) uses information
collected from its registered clients, students and visitors to this web site to enhance the services we offer to you and
to improve your experience of our services. We take privacy very seriously. This privacy policy sets out details of
the personal information we collect about you, and ways in which we may use that information.

When Do We Collect Personal Information?
Active Recovery Ltd collects personal information from you, such as your email address, when you register to
become an Active Recovery client/student of ASCT, subscribe to our newsletter, and/or request any information from
this or our other websites. You may also be contacted and asked whether you would like to receive information from
ourselves or other allied companies, or to take part in surveys about Active to help us improve our services; your
participation would be strictly voluntary.
For What Purposes Will The Personal Information Be Used?
If you are an Active client, we may use the personal information for the purposes of:
- Reminding you of payments due or requesting payment from you.
- Sending you the Monthly Newsletter.
- Informing you of new services, courses, or special offers, provided that you choose to receive this information.
- Informing you of any service related changes affecting your use of the Active web sites, and any new features
and functionality (e.g. the introduction of a new e-mail contact).
- Assessing and developing our operations and related services and/or products.
- Contacting you to ask whether you would like to take part in a research survey to help us improve our services.
- Informing you of any products and services offered by other companies that we think may be of interest,
provided that you choose to receive this information*.
- Verifying that you are an authorised clent/student if you contact Active Recovery (for reasons of security, you
may be asked for some of the details you provided during any registration process).
If you are an Active client, you may, at any time, change your mind about receiving information from us, or other
companies, in the future. If you initially chose to receive such information, and subsequently you no longer wish to
receive information about either our products and services or those of third parties, notify us by e-mail. If you
receive communications from us that you have not agreed to, please reply to that message with the word Remove in
the subject line, to permanently remove your address from our database.
* If you choose to receive information from other companies we may sometimes, with your permission, disclose your
personal information those companies. We will only do so where those companies have undertaken not to use your
personal data for any purpose other than to provide information to you. If you decide that you no longer want to
receive information from a particular company, you should contact that company directly. You should be aware that if
you choose to give any personal information to another company, the uses to which that information may be put
